Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved Ones

Christopher Nochez

Christopher Nochez

Christopher Zachary Nochez went to be with our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, on March 6, 2020, at age 24. Christopher was born on
November 19, 1995, to Marlon and Lorena Nochez in Bellflower,
California. As a baby and young toddler, he resided in Bell, but he
grew up in Corona alongside his younger brothers, Joshua and
Jacob. Christopher came to know Jesus as a young child, and he
enjoyed attending service with his family on a continuum; something
he proudly did until illness prevented his physical ability to do so, but
not his heart or spirit. Christopher loved on Jesus until He called him

Christopher partook in basketball (his favorite sport), soccer, and
swimming as a child, and he attended Vicentia Elementary School and
Raney Intermediate School, where he received President’s Education
Awards. He received academic GPA awards at Corona High School,
and he graduated from Mt. San Antonio College with an associate
degree in June 2016, where he also worked for the EOPS/Care
program. He ultimately was a junior at UCLA, where he aspired to
receive his bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and where he became a
brother of the Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity; he was a proud BRUIN.
He was employed at Pizza Hut, Rubio’s, and AT&T throughout his
young life, as he always proved to be a self-sufficient and reliable
man. He met his high school sweetheart, Karla Sanchez Camacho in
2011, and they would carry a 7-year relationship until the end. Karla
and Christopher shared a God-given love that some of us may never
experience, and that was one of the many ways God loved on him.

Christopher’s walk with the Lord was nurtured by not only his
parents, but by his willing participation at the Crossroads Church
generate bible study, Water of Life Church School of Ministry, and Mt.
Sac bible study. It was not out of character to witness Christopher
praying, worshipping, reading devotions, journaling, or serving on
others with all his heart. He took appreciation for God’s creation of
this beautiful earth, especially when studying abroad in Spain, in
Spring 2018, and he was blessed to have visited, Amsterdam,
Morocco, Budapest, and Italy! He also enjoyed watching and
attending sport events, especially going to a LAKER or Dodger game
with cousins and friends; visiting Rosarito Beach with his family and
girlfriend; hiking; dancing; traveling; hanging out with any and all of
his many cousins; listening to music, and eating! Yes, Christopher
was a foodie! He was a loyal, serving, compassionate, and supportive
human being who was loved by all he touched, especially his family.
He made life-long friends everywhere he went, and he maintained his
loyalty to each of them. He loved family gatherings, celebrations, and
joking around with anyone who loved to laugh. Valiantly laughing at
times as he battled an aggressive cancer that invaded certain parts of
his body, but never his spirit. He praised his parents and girlfriend
for having survived an unexpected life expectancy because of all the
love and support he received from them and countless others. He
remained brave, faithful, and non-complaining throughout the illness
that sorrowfully took his young life, but entered it into eternal rest
with his Creator. He is the blessed one!

Christopher Zachary Nochez is survived by his parents, Marlon and
Lorena Nochez; his brothers, Joshua and Jacob Nochez; his
grandmothers, Esperanza Reynaga and Marina Nochez; his maternal
aunts and uncles, Ramon, Elva, Hilda, Raul, Lina, Oscar, and
Bernardo Reynaga; his Reynaga cousins; his paternal aunt and
uncles, Nancy, Christian, and Ronald Nochez; his Nochez cousins;
many other families, his loving girlfriend, Karla Sanchez Camacho;
his multitude of life-long friends, and his beloved dog, Shadow.
Until we meet again, Miracle Boy! We love you forever!

Private burial will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Park Lawn Cemetery. 6555 Gage Ave. Commerce, CA 90040
