I also would like to send my simcere condolences. Steve is my son-in-law who we love dearly. He was always so proud of the fact that his father was an Air Force pulot. His grandson Palmer looks just like him and the Schmidts and is also brilliant ( reading novels at the age of 5). Grandson Carter is a mechanical whiz who also wants to be a pilot. Charles would be so proud of Steve and the fine young men he is raising. Wish he could have lived closer and known them better.

Charles’ classmate-closest neighbor. Rode bus together all school years. What a guy! His writing and life were inspirational. My sympathies.
