Christopher Austin Plew, Age 49, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, November 1, 2019 after a mercifully brief battle with colon cancer. Chris was born on October 2, 1970, in Falls Church, Virginia; the beloved son to his parents Marvin Denman Plew, of Pennsylvania, and Virginia Raquel Martinez, of Iowa. He was raised in Upland, CA and graduated from Montclair High School in Montclair, CA. Chris attended college and worked numerous positions before becoming Assistant Manager for Verizon Wireless. He was then gifted a supply distribution company from his uncle and successfully ran this company for over 12 years.
Chris’ home church is Hillside Community Church where he was involved with the softball team, the sports ministry, and men’s bible study. Chris’ primary interest was his daughter, Kendall. He was her coach, taxi, and fan…but most of all, her Dad.
He is survived his daughter, Kendall Diaz. He is also survived by his mother, siblings (David, Michael, Jennifer, Carrie, Chrissie, and Cherie), their spouses, and nieces and nephews and by many who knew and loved him. He will continue to be cherished.

A Celebration of Life will be held later that day at 1PM. Hillside Community Church. 5354 Haven Avenue. Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737.
